Shaylyn anderson-garner

Artistically known as Shay Shanise, is an alumni who attended camp the summer of 2014. She went on to attend and graduate from Columbia College Chicago, with a B.A in dance and marketing minor. Currently, Shay teaches dance to youth and adults within the Grand Rapids, MI area, along with performing and teaching dance at private events. You can catch her teaching at Haus of Glass Dance and Midwest Movement Collective.

rAYMOND MARTIN

Raymond Martin is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, composer, and bandleader born and raised in Detroit. While in High School, Raymond was mentored by the late great Marcus Belgrave, Detroit's legendary trumpeter.

Raymond was nominated as part of the horn section on the Clark Sister's Album The Return.

Raymond has worked with several Detroit artists, including Gayelynn Mckinney, De'Sean Jones, Sean Dobbins, and The Clark Sisters. For several years he also worked as an Assistant to the Band Director at the Detroit School of Arts.

Niyah gary

Niyah Gary is currently a student at Wayne state university, majoring in psychology and minoring in studio arts. Her goal is to become a licensed art therapist. She attended Camp Baber (Now the Michigan Fine Arts Institute) from 2011-to 2019. While there, she participated in the performing arts course and art and choir. Niyah says that being at Camp Baber helped her learn more about herself and introduced her to the diverse world of art. The camp also helped her realize her true passion in life.
